They are looking for an English speaking Desktop Support Engineer (German not required) for MAC and PC support on-site, based in Frankfurt - Germany.

• Provide end to end MAC support with PC desktop support via desk side visits, telephone and remote support;
• Act as a point of contact for all IT and Mobility requests and escalate to other teams where necessary;
• Building, configuring and troubleshooting PC hardware components.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of MAC OSX operating systems up to Mountain Lion 10.8, Windows XP, 7;
• Knowledge of server/client operations in a domain environment would be advantageous 20032008 with Active Directory;
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP standards and networking;
• Individual must have at least 3 years experience in a similar IT support role;
• Experience working in a MAC and Windows environment;
• Must be a good problem solver, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to new and changing technologies;
• Must be able to work to specified standards and required levels of department, conduct, and sound ethical workplace practices;
• Good verbal and written communication skills;
• Must have good customer facing skills and be well presented;
• Ability to work alone and unsupervised, taking the initiative when necessary;
• Must speak fluent English, German desirable;
• Apple MAC and Microsoft qualifications desirable.
