FAS SUPPORT ENGINEER - Belgium




Brevco Services is currently looking for FAS Support Engineers for a NATO Project they are supporting in Mons, Belgium. SC or NATO Secret Clearance Required.

Essential Skills:
At least 3 years experience administering Functional Area Services systemsor similar mission dedicated systems/C2 applications (for example SituationalAwareness Services, Land/Air/Joint Command and Control Systems and supportingTheatre Database Systems) in a production environment including experience in:

WEB Services,
Service Oriented Architectures (SOA),
Administration of WEB servers,
Virtualisation technologies
Experience in testing of software applications.
Database administration of any of the following
Microsoft (MS) SQL Server
Oracle Database
POSTGRESQL RDBMS

Strong interpersonal skills, be able to work within a team environment and
have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Completion of Communications Information Systems (CIS) university degree
or completion of vocational training leading to formal software systems related
technical or professional certification.
Familiarity and be capable to make effective use of the Microsoft Office
toolset.

Language
Fluent spoken and written English (3/3/3/3).

Desirable Skills:
MS SQL Cluster technology administration knowledge and experience
Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) concepts, ITIL experience highly desirable.
Knowledge of and experience with VMware.
Knowledge/Experience in project management principles/processes
4 years experience in C2 S/W system administration
Previous experience of a military or CIS environment
Experience in the CIS Service Desk support arena

Security Clearance
NATO SECRET clearance.

Working Hours
220 Days per Year, 8 Hour shifts
pound;300 - pound;500 pd Location: Europe and Worldwide, Mons, Belgium
