Customer Service Representative- German, Dutch AND English

Our client is number one in their industry (retail related) and a fast growing business which in Europe has registered double digit growth for the past 5 years consecutively
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) for EMEA will be the liaison between the customer, supply and demand team and the business development managers (BDM). They will be responsible for the front line contact with external customers and business development managers for processing customer purchase orders from receipt to delivery. The CSR will coordinate all the necessary steps to ensure the customer order is filled on time.
  • Provide customers with strong product knowledge and specifications;
  • Order Management Processing of orders (inputting, forwarding and archiving);
  • Compilation of the back-order report;
  • Maintenance of the data in the Order management System (product and customer details);
  • Pro-active signaling of potential problems (potential back-order situations) and attempting to prevent them;
  • Pro-active informing of customers with regard to the status of their orders;
  • Performance of support tasks such as the registration and handling of complaints, handling of referring of customer queries, and handling of returns;
  • Coordinate with AR regarding customer payment terms;
  • Provide input with regard to the improvement of procedures and working methods with a view to improving the quality of the work and the services provided to the customer;
  • Process reports requested by sales management and customers using Microsoft Excel.
Requirements
  • 5 years of customer service experience;
  • Customer focused, proactive approach, taking ownership;
  • Experience with direct distribution models to retail;
  • Domestic and international transportation knowledge;
  • Strong problem solving skills, ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines;
  • Must possess excellent communication skills;
  • Qualifications at an MBO level and knowledge of MS office;
  • Native German with fluency in Dutch and English;
  • Experience working in an office sales department would be an advantage.
