Account Representative - Swedish

Our client is a multinational manufacturing group specializing in innovative technologies and number 1 provider in their niche market. Key to their global success is the combination of a high quality, tailor made product and a tight-knit operations and account management team based at their EMEA headquarters in Amsterdam.
Due to business growth they are looking for an Account Representative to join their team. You will be part of a dynamic and stable team and responsible for maintaining relationships and favourable contacts with current and potential business accounts.
  • Maintaining relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential accounts in this European food industries-focused team;
  • Handling incoming phone calls; providing pricing and proposals, resolving questions/problems; following-up on unresolved issues and identifying opportunities for sales solutions, including cross selling and up selling opportunities, with a specific focus on outbound lead generation with existing customers;
  • Advise / recommend / sell products and services to products to mainly Swedish customers within the food industries;
  • Solve customer problems in a group, with sales staff, production and engineering. Resolving customer questions/problems and follow-ups to ensure that concerns were resolved to the clients satisfaction;
  • Process customer inquiries, quotes and orders and administer correctly in order entry program;
  • Assist in customer account maintenance;
  • Coordination and communication with field sales; including extensive telephone contact and internally by utilizing company specific communication programs;
Requirements
  • Native level Swedish language, written and spoken. Spoken and written English is essential. Additional language skills are highly advantageous;
  • Previous commercial business to business sales work experience (inside or outside), minimum of 3 years;
  • Strong mathematical and technical aptitude;
  • Excellent verbal written communication skills, along with a pleasant professional phone manner;
  • Must be detail oriented and possess excellent problem solving skills;
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks using strong organizational skills;
  • Self-managed and a team player;
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based software.
