Position Summary
The Information Officer Knowledge Manager (KM) is a key function within the IO Practice with a global focus. He/she will be responsible for enhancing the practice performance in the areas of business development, candidate pool development and assignment execution. He/she will be a reliable source of knowledge and counsel in the practice area, with a special focus in the areas of candidate and market intelligence. The KM will be located in either Chicago or Amsterdam.
Major Responsibilities
• Knowledge Expert – You will be an in-house expert in relation to global IT trends and top CIO’s and will be a source of knowledge and direction for global capital projects. You will need to engage with key players in the market to keep in touch with what is happening in the industry.
• Strategic Practice Development and Support – You will develop a Global Knowledge agenda and establish clear knowledge goals and objectives for the Practice. You will evaluate the Practice’s sector strengths and weaknesses and identify areas of growth and retraction
• Knowledge Organization – You will Work with technology team and leverage new technologies to organize and manage knowledge in a way that makes knowledge well organized and easily accessible 24/7.
• Candidate Pool Development (CPD) – You will implement a global candidate pool for the Practice and set and evaluate executive mapping needs and priorities.
• Promote and facilitate information sharing: - Between the regional Practices and members

Requirements:
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION: KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Ideal Experience
• College graduate with at least 5-7 years of business experience.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience working in an IT consulting environment or within an IT organization.
• International experience and/or mind set are essential.
• Project management skills
• Global understanding of the IT marketplace. Trends and players.
