Expatica is looking for a driven and pro-active professional for our ambitious team in an international working environment as a;
 
Junior Sales Representative The Netherlands
 

You will be responsible for the sales of Expatica products in a specific country. (

The Sales Representative will work closely with the sales staff and the managing director. He or she will report to the managing director.
 

Primary responsibilities:

• Indentify potential clients in the local market for national and multinational advertising opportunities;
• Contact potential clients;
• Send out proposals to (potential) clients;
• Provide Expatica Communications with signed contracts;
• Insure traffic and fulfillment regarding the products, assisted by sales support of Expatica Communications;
• Report results to clients, assisted by sales support of Expatica Communications

Expatica Communications B.V. is a born-global media company that began in 2000 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. It started as a news and information site for internationals and quickly expanded to encompass a much broader resource for internationals living abroad. Within a few years of its origination, Expatica also expanded geographically to include Belgium, France, Spain and Germany. Switzerland has recently been added to the list, with the site’s launch in December 2007.

Requirements:

 

·         Already active within local international / expatriate community
·         Knowledge of local advertising market
·         Knowledge and interest in online media
·         Focused customer friendly approach
·         Experience in similar position is preferable
·         Pro-active, perseverant with a problem-solving attitude
·         Creative and energetic
·         Able to work independently as well as on a (remote) team
·         Excellent communication skills
·         Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in other language is a plus.
 
Compensation:
Sales Representative will receive a base salary + commission based compensation.
