Job description:
To achieve the sales target according to the budget, to ensure the presence throughout the country guaranteeing their position in the market, being to all effect the principal representative of the company in the country.
Responsibilities
· To collaborate in the establishment of branch expense and deposit budgets, in accordance with the fixed targets, taking responsibility for their implementation.
· To manage the branch structure necessary to fulfil the set targets, carry out the work of selecting and hiring when necessary (goods and/or personnel).
· To know and analyse the market, the competition and the commercial situation of the company in their country in order to advise the Sales Management on, or to direct depending on each case, the decision making that improves competitiveness.
· To follow up on the branch’s results, the margins and the market share and to propose correction measures to obtain the set sales targets detailed in the plan.
· To increase the market quota through attracting and keeping clients.
· To manage the portfolio of clients with special economic or strategic relevancy to their market, creating and maintaining effective and lasting relations by means of visits, presentations, regular communication, etc.
· To guarantee clients a quality service through the training and follow-up of the branch’s sales team, with the goal of helping to attract and keep loyal clients.
· To represent the company when dealing with clients, providers, organisations and institutions associated with their competition, as well as to the sector media.
· To locally support the Group’s headquarters and their different departments in all aspects or negotiations that are required in their country.
· To assure the functioning of the offices that they are accountable for through the acquisition and optimisation of their resources and infrastructures, as well as the handling of funds.
· To monitor all branch personnel, ensuring that they adopt the correct behaviour according to the philosophy, policy and image of the company, making decisions, if necessary, to correct the situation immediately.
· To exercise direction and leadership of the people in their charge, setting goals, targets and responsibilities, defining indicators for assessing and evaluating results, mobilising people and stimulating their development and that of the department.
· To create and maintain a working atmosphere in the branch that stimulates the participation of personnel and their commitment with the established culture, values, targets and goals

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be from a travel agency background or travel related background. Previous negotiation with Travel Agencies and market sector knowledge
You must also be a native or fluent Dutch speaker, residing in the Utrecht area.
